ABOUT EASTMAN THERAPY
Eastman Therapy Centre was started in 1999 by Dave Blatz. The clinic has grown and matured into the largest multidisciplinary facility and Sports Medicine Centre in Southeastern Manitoba.
MEET THE TEAM
Dave is a Certified Athletic Therapist and the owner of the Eastman Therapy Centre. Dave has extensive experience as an Athletic Therapist working internationally with Canada's sports teams. He has been a part of multiple Olympics and Commonwealth Games, most recently as Chief Therapist. If you'd like to know more about Dave, just ask him. Or don't, he'll still tell you.

CURRENTLY ON MAT LEAVE
Ashley possesses excellent exercise assessment, prescription, and rehabilitation skills. Ashley excels with aquatic rehabilitation and her knowledge and skill-set lend an excellent benefit to patients participating in this form of weightless movement therapy.
Eric is an excellent therapist possessing clinical skills such as acupuncture, soft tissue release, therapeutic cupping, & exercise based rehab. Eric continues to provide community support to the SRSS Football Club & Providence College. In his spare time, Eric serves as the Assistant Coach of the Mitchell Mohawk Junior Hockey Team.
Ahmed is an active member of the Canadian Sport Massage Therapist Association. He has worked with the University of Winnipeg Athletic Therapy Centre, volunteered at the 2017 Canada Summer Games (providing treatments for professional athletes), and currently volunteers for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (providing post-game treatments). Ahmed specialises in functional muscle release, myofascial release, muscle energy technique, deep tissue, and relaxation massage.
Olivia is a graduate from Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapies. She is trained in therapeutic massage, relaxation massage and has also taken further training in pre & post sport event massage, lymphatic integration and deep tissue access. Olivia uses specific assessment to provide her clients with a treatment plan that targets the root cause of their ailment as well as treats their symptoms.
Graduating from Evolve College of Massage Therapy, Kaycee is now apart of Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba. She enjoys working with expected mothers & infants but he experience does not stop there. Kaycee offers therapeutic , deep tissue and relaxation massages as well.
Working in the massage therapy career, Angelika gained experience through several physiotherapy clinics where she had the opportunity to work on sports-related as well as other types of injuries. Angelika enjoys working on patients in the rehabilitation process, helping them get back on their feet. Some common conditions she works with are neck pain, headaches, TMJ pain, rotator cuff injuries, tendinitis, and lower back pain.
Dr. J. Longstaffe is one of the brightest stars in the orthopaedic surgical world. His involvement with the Winnipeg Jets & Winnipeg Blue Bombers demonstrates an excellent skill-set to work with professional calibre athletes. Dr Longstaffe specialises in surgical interventions for the shoulders, hips, & knees and conducts weekly clinics in Steinbach at Eastman Therapy Centre.
DR JAMES LONGSTAFFE
Dr. Fredette is a general practitioner based out of Ste. Anne, and also carries the certification for the Canadian Association of Sports and Exercise Medicine. Dr. Fredette assesses all orthopedic / musculoskeletal injuries and can provide clinical diagnosis, requisition diagnostic testing, refer to physio/athletic therapies, and prescribe medications.

Susan has been helping people with weight loss & meal planning for years, and understands all the challenges when it comes to knowing what to eat and how much. Susan is passionate about teaching people food, not nutrients, and how to use real food to manage weight and wellness. Susan owns A Little Nutrition and offers one-on-one programs, grocery store tours, and practical advice about nutrition.
